Faculty and Staff

Mrs. Michelle Pietak

4B Teacher

I am thrilled to be a part of the Aquinas Catholic community!  I have been teaching for 30+ years in both Catholic and public schools, and have taught all primary grade levels (prek- 6) with the exception of kindergarten and first grade.  I’ve taught in  DC, MD, NY, and most recently in Prince William County Public Schools here in VA.

I have 6 of my own children– 4 girls and 2 boys who are now grown– and 9 grandchildren.  One daughter lives in Australia and the other five live all over the US.

I consider it a blessing to have the opportunity to educate your child at Aquinas.  It is my goal to love your child, while challenging him or her to grow academically, spiritually, emotionally and socially.   I work to provide a safe, nurturing, disciplined, creative classroom; a place where mistakes are made, respect is given, Jesus Christ is loved, and accomplishments are celebrated.

“Never worry about numbers. Love one person at a time, and always start with the person nearest you.”
“Prayer is not asking. Prayer is putting oneself in the hands of God, at His disposition, and listening to His voice in the depth of our hearts.”
