¡Bienvenidos a la página de Español!

We are excited and in full swing in our year of learning Spanish together! We continue to learn through comprehensible input, including short novels, videos, and student interviews in Spanish! Keep up the great work!  Don’t forget to check Google Classroom and This Week’s Planner for assignment instructions and due dates.

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español!  Welcome to Spanish!

Students will be acquiring Spanish through comprehensible stories, songs, and activities. We will especially be focusing on key phrases and vocabulary. Ask your student what “target structures” we learned in class this week!

Currently, our 3rd and 4th graders are working their way through their first novel in Spanish, Capibara con Botas.

¡Bienvenidos a la clase de Español!  Welcome to middle school Spanish!

Students will be acquiring Spanish by sharing about themselves, their friends and family, talking about their hobbies and their day at school.

Active participation is key.  How do you actively participate?  Focus on the speaker and look around the room for clues. Ask questions when you need more information and come to class EVERY day!!!

Currently in 6th grade we are reading the Spanish novel, La Perezosa Impaciente. Ask your student what we read in class today!

Listed below are some websites we will be using this year or that can help you practice at home.
