A child is God’s precious blessing to the world. As a Catholic School educator, I have had the honor and privilege of being a part of children’s academic and spiritual journeys. The following quote by Benjamin Franklin best resonates with my teaching philosophy in the classroom.

“Tell me and I forget. Teach me and I remember. Involve me and I learn. “

Dear Parents and Students,

Happy 24th day of Kindergarten!  WOW we have come a long way in a very short time!  I am so very proud of all my students!  We have settled into a wonderful routine and great progress is already happening!  🙂

A few more tabs have been added to our class page!  One of the new pages is titled K2 Highlights.  I will be posting pictures of concepts we have been working on, class activities, special events as well as anything else I can think of in order to give you a pictorial window into our school day.   Another new tab will be for the weekly newsletter.  As you know, the newsletter comes home on Tuesdays and is full of important information and dates coming up for your planning purposes.  I thought having access to the newsletter on our class page might be helpful as well.  Finally, there is a new tab called Thankful Thursday.  Each Thursday K2 makes a list of things we are thankful for! We chart 4 students gratitude each week.  Each week will highlight 4 different students until the whole class has had an opportunity and then we start all over again!

Thank you so much for sharing your most precious children with the Aquinas community and K2.  They are such blessings!

God bless,

Mrs. Wehner
