Middle School Religion

Sr Mary Magdalene grew up in South Louisiana on a rice and crawfish farm. She entered the Congregation of the Dominican Sisters of Saint Cecilia in Nashville, Tennessee in 2000, after a couple of years studying at LSU. She obtained her BA in Education from Aquinas College in Nashville, a M.Ed. from Xavier University in Cincinnati, and is currently enrolled in Graduate School at Franciscan University of Steubenville, Ohio. She has 15 years of teaching experience in elementary schools throughout the US, and high school and chaplaincy work in Sydney, Australia. Previous to coming to Thomas Aquinas Regional School she taught middle school at St Joseph School in Cottleville, Mo (outside of St Louis).

“Faith and reason are like two wings on which the human spirit rises to the contemplation of truth; and God has placed in the human heart a desire to know the truth- in a word, to know himself- so that, by knowing and loving God, men and women may also come to the fullness of truth about themselves.” Pope Saint John Paul II

It is a blessing to be at St Thomas Aquinas Regional School. Know of my prayers!

St. Thomas Aquinas Regional school is faithful to the teachings of the Catholic Church and rooted in Dominican traditions.  We provide an academically rigorous program for the intellectual formation of students to grow in the truth of Christ.
