Screenagers Viewing – November 19 at 7 PM

SAVE THE DATE!  Back by popular demand!  Aquinas is pleased to announce we have secured another showing of the documentary “Screenagers“.  This film was well received after our initial viewing three years ago, and it still maintains its relevance today.  It is intended for parents of all our students, in middle school or elementary as it examines the ways that devices, social media and other electronic communication have become so ingrained in modern teen’s lives. See what the experts are finding about the effects on the developing teen-aged brain, and listen to other parents as they attempt to find balance in their approach to technology use with their kids.  We are hosting this parent-event on Tuesday, November 19th at 7:00 pm.  Common Sense Media rates the film as appropriate for children aged 10 and older.  As the primary educators, parents are advised to use their discretion in bringing their children to this event.  We look forward to seeing you all there as we work together in helping our students make good decisions about their use of technology in this digital world.   Help us plan appropriately with an RSVP HERE.
