36 years teaching experience at St. Thomas Aquinas Regional School
“Being a part of the Aquinas community for more than 35 years has been a gift. Witnessing my students grow in their faith and education has been a blessing. I have even had the privilege of teaching some of my student’s children! It is so fulfilling that I am able to use my talents and skills to teach young children. Every day is a new opportunity to make even the smallest difference in the lives of my students and their families. I love promoting and supporting school spirit and fundraisers throughout the community. My former students have nicknamed me “Lucky Leckey” for all the classroom competition victories enjoyed throughout the years.
“Without confidence and love, there can be no true education.” -Saint John Bosco
We are a developmental Pre-K program that strives to ensure students are ready to enter Kindergarten upon completion. All Pre-K applicants must be 4 years of age on or before September 30th. The Pre-K children thrive in a well-designed program of learning. A typical day in Pre-K offers a religion program, reading program and a math program on the Activ-board with software and activities. Also, circle time with calendar, weather, songs, show and tell are part of the daily curriculum. We have a reading centers, a science center, a kitchen center, educational toys and weekly themes. The two weekly specials are Computer and Library classes. We have a lot of fun in Pre-K laughing, singing, making friends while learning about God.
